Fees, info, etc.
For privacy and safety reasons I do not routinely use text or phone calls to communicate with clients. If you need to get ahold of me, use either my email (jbryonmurray@proton.me) or the secure messaging platform in my booking system. I do my best to respond in a timely fashion.

Reminder emails or texts may be sent from my booking system. Please do not rely on these alone to remember your appointments, as occasionally technology can fail! Add your appointments to your calender and set a reminder.
Not receiving a reminder email from my booking system does not excuse a late cancellation or a no-show.
Appointment reminders

Late cancellation or reschedule: $150 per appointment, to be paid ahead of rebooking any appointments.
No-show: full fee of $235, to be paid ahead of rebooking any future appointments.
Note that insurance plans do not cover these types of fees.
Other fees

Please give 24 hours notice from the time of the scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule a counselling appointment. You are free to cancel or reschedule your appointments as you need to, but any change with less than 24 hour notice can incur a fee. You can cancel an appointment on my online booking site or via an email to jbryonmurray@proton.me
Please inform me of any extenuating circumstances that may explain a late cancellation, no-show or rescheduled appointment!
I reserve the right to charge a fee for any late cancellation, reschedule, or no-show appointment using the fees listed below. I reserve the right to cancel any future booked appointments you have if you have not paid the fee.

I direct bill for Alberta Blue Cross.
Currently I accept payment by eTransfer at the time of the appointment or shortly after. An invoice and receipt will be emailed to you, which you can then use for reimbursement with your insurance provider.
My fees follow the recommended rates as suggested by The Psychologists Association of Alberta.
